Hydraulic cylinder welding machine main Feature

• MAG air-cooled welding torch is fixed while workpiece is rotating, welding position is horizontal.
• Adopt welded machine body, welding torch and pneumatic tail-stock can be adjusted longitudinally, it can be locked after adjustment.
• Workpiece is positioned by special fixture and pressed by pneumatic thimble. Rotating synchronously. Loading and unloading bracket are mounted under the workpiece.
• Japan OMRON PLC controls the whole machine operation. Workpiece rotation speed is adjusted by inverter, stepless adjustment, to improve the reliability.
• Japan OTC welding power source which has good performance of arc igniting, arc stabilizing and arc ending, to ensure that the welding seam is even and uniform.

• The welding mode and welding specification can be preset, saved and recalled. Via touch man-machine interface, it is convenient to modify the parameter and switch the status through the man-machine touch screen. Welding length, arc igniting &ending time, welding current, welding voltage, welding speed, oscillating frequency, oscillating scope, oscillating time, torch lifting time, lifting distance, lifting times can be all input through the interface.
• Welding current and welding voltage are controlled by D/A (digital analog). They can be preset and recalled in layer. To realize multi layer continuous welding when the arc does not stop.
• With good appearance and good quality, depth and width of fusion meet the requirement.
• Machine has good operating performance and low failure rate.
• Welding oscillating mechanism is used to weld wide and multi layer seams of hydraulic cylinder.

Equipment Composition
It consists of machine body, rotary axis power mechanism, welding torch oscillating&adjustment mechanism, electric control system, welding power source, etc.

Machine Body

The machine body is composed of base, left and right side seat, gantry beam and other components. Base is welded by square tube and steel plate. After plane processing and stress relief treatment, base is used as installed datum plan. Rails are fixed on the base. Welding torch oscillating and adjustment mechanisms are mounted on the rail of gantry beam, and adjustable along with the rail. Electric control cabinet is on the right lateral side, control button station is mounted on the right anterior, easy to operate and maintain.

Rotary Axis Box

Rotary axis box is driven by AC frequency motor, and decelerated by worm and gear reducer. The inverter regulates and controls the rotation speed to realize rotation of rotary axis. The whole is composed of AC motor, deceleration device, workpiece fixture and conductive sleeve.

Welding Torch Pneumatic Feeding and Oscillating Mechanism

Welding torch moves forward-backward driven by air cylinder, to reach the switch between preparation and welding station. Oscillating mechanism is composed of stepper motor, ball screw and linear rail, etc. It adopts closed type structure, shielding the process from dust and spatters. Torch oscillating frequency, oscillating scope, oscillating time, lifting distance, lifting numbers can be controlled by CNC system.

Torch Clamping&Adjustment Mechanism

It adopts push-type wire feeding mode, to guarantee feeding stability. Welding torch can be adjusted up and down, left and right and angled turn. The fine adjustment of torch uses ball screw, with high accurate adjustment and positioning. It can be locked after adjustment.

Pneumatic Tail Stock

Pneumatic tail stock can be adjusted to meet the requirements of various welding. The workpiece is pneumatically pressed by thimble, and rotates with thimble. Extending part is equipped with dust and splash protective device.


Universal Ball Support

It is guided by the guide rails, using ball screw manual adjustment mechanism to adjust up and down and locked. Universal ball supports the workpiece, to adapt to the workpiece adjustment in axial and circumferential direction, convenient to use.

Electric System

Japan OMRON PLC as control core to control the implementation of the welding program; Japan Omron 750w inverter; Oscillating mechanism uses stepper motor and driver; Stable system, simple structure and easy maintenance.
Rotary closed-loop encoder will detect welding length.Welding current, welding voltage, welding speed are controlled by D/A (digital-analog). Control button, touch screen, welding specification are placed in one integrated control panel box. Easy to be used and operated.

Welding Power Source and wire feeder

Copper block as the conductive device (electric conduction) which directly connects with welding source. It is a basic security design.
Japan OTC EP500 (rated output current is 500A) welding power source can achieve high quality welding . 1 set power source will go with your machine.
Push-type wire feeder(OTC) is installed at the moving arm of the torch holder for short distance wire feeding and give stable feeding.Machine is with high welding voltage and slow wire feeding performance, which guarantees reliable arc igniting. Machine is also with low welding voltage and low welding current for filling crater.



Sliding door is made of the steel plate, with strong intensity. There is a inspection window on the door. Welding process can be observed in the mirror.

Guide rails are mounted on body. Tail-stock and support can be moved easily.
